Chanel ~ The Paris-Byzance Show

Empress Theodora of Byzantine inspired the pre-fall 2011 collection from Chanel.

Chanel: 2011 Paris-Byzance Metiers d’Art Show

“The theme of the collection, Paris-Byzance is a great inspiration on it’s own.

The links and price of cialis associations with Chanel are rich and plenty. Karl gave Sam (McKnight) and me a sketch giving us a rough idea of the direction he wanted for the look, from then the tone was set. Karl also showed us the world-famous mosaic portrait of Theodora, the Empress of sumycin pills the Byzantine Empire Mosaic from the synthroid pills Saint-Vital de Ravenne Basilica, which very naturally became the inspiration for the show’s makeup. The portrait gave me a focus point : the red eye shadow/liner that she wears on the arch of her eyebrows. This look is all about light and rich textures. The choreography between gold, bronze, black and red can be easily personalized according to the desires of each woman.”

Chanel Temptress Tattoos

Chanel’s tattoo is the must-have beauty accessory, making body art the new jewellery.

Tattoos have become very chic and embraced by high fashion,

Les Trompe L’œil de Chanel,

or, temporary tattoos are the cheap prescription flagyl perfect gift for the friend who has everything!

Each tattoo design was hand-drawn by Peter Philips, director of viagra soft tabs canada pharmacy Chanel makeup

and were featured in the spring 2010 runway show.

The collection of tattoos recreate some of the Chanel icons,

from the famous double camellia to C by way of pearls and jewels.

I have always known tattoos can be classy, ever since I saw a friend’s ink of a Picasso line portrait. From that moment I wanted one, it would be my secret that would remind me to have an expansive mind. However, given the permanence I could never decide on what motif I wanted, and then they became trendy, so I postponed the idea.

And now, Chanel has launched their affordable Les Trompe L’œil de Chanel. They come in a sheet that contains a package of 55 different inkies that last about a week and are comprised of different Coco Chanel inspired symbols and patterns like birds, flowers, pears and necklaces that can be worn around the arm, ankle or thigh.

This year the they were everywhere on the catwalk (Rodarte, Chanel, Jean Paul Gaultier joined the trend), tattoos. Not real ones, of course. They used transfers and bodypaint, and so there is no need to get yourself inked. The Les Trompe L’œil de Chanel, set of 55 individual tattoos retail for £49 or $75US, and will not be in the shops until 1 March. You can buy them now from Chanel online here.

Carousel Inspiration ~ A Carousel at the cheapest cialis ever Grand Palais

I adore this pretty, functioning Chanel carousel

and would love to enjoy a twirling ride.

In a spectacular setting in the Grand Palais, the maestro of Chanel transformed the catwalk into a fairground with a giant carousel as the centerpiece. In the place of horses, the many symbols of Chanel circled ~ quilted handbags, camellias, pearls, flacons, shoes, bijoux, bows, hats, lipstick and interlocking Cs.

At the end of the show, the carousel started to turn…….

Lagerfeld, a master of catwalk theatrics, dreams up incredible larger-than life sets.

And the music in the show is great ~ Blind by Hercules & Love Affair & Beatific by Glass Candy.
