human flower art

Look closely, these stunning digital photography art composed entirely of nude human beings.

Artist Cecelia Webber utilizes the human body to create beautiful works of art that depict plant and flower forms.

Cecelia Webber was born in a forest town of only 1,500 people and spent much of her childhood in fields catching orange salamanders. She was a shy, socially awkward child who enjoyed reading and spent hours searching for small fairy creatures in abandoned maple sugar huts and dilapidated stonewalls. Oddly enough, as she grew older the world grew stranger and stranger.

Questions revolved about in her head, knocking down reality’s framework with the force of bowling balls: Why are we made to feel so ashamed of the human body in Western culture and so much of the rest of the world? Isn’t the body a beautiful, wonderful thing, deserving nothing less than to be celebrated? As her thoughts continued to evolve, Cecelia alighted upon a petal in her mind, a new-found platform from which she could quietly challenge the status quo: she created a digital image of a flower constructed entirely from photographs of the naked human body.

Thus commenced her journey as a professional artist, as she continued to grow her Petal series, develop her impressionist and modernist paintings, dance vivaciously in her own fan-made music videos and experimental films, and even eke out a quirky, existentialist webcomic, while of course still setting aside the majority of each day to chase orange salamanders and other fairy creatures.  Illusion

Sadly these images are often falsely credited to IRP Group and were stolen from the artist, Cecelia Webber, by the Iranian Progressive Group (IRP-Group)! Check her site, Cecelia Webber.

The runway star, Julia Nobis

The runway star, Julia Nobis (she conquered the Spring Summer 2012 and Fall Winter 2012 season as the model who walked the most runways!), was photographed by Benny Horne in Dandenong Ranges, Victoria, with horse racing sensation, Black Caviar, for the December 2012 cover of Vogue Australia.

The Australian born model is wearing a black and gold Resort 2013 dress from Alexander McQueen on the cover.

Black Caviar becomes a covergirl

Dazzling beauty and horse racing sensation Black Caviar graces the cover of Vogue Australia, making cover girl history! She’s the fastest racehorse in the world, and Australia’s most beloved sports star, and it’s the first time in the magazine’s 53-year history that a horse will appear on the cover.

Black Caviar (known at home as “Nelly”) was photographed by young Australian photographer Benny Horne in the foothills of the Dandenongs in a purpose-built outdoor studio alongside the thoroughbred of Australian modelling, Julia Nobis.

Weighing 570 kilograms and standing 16.2 hands, the statuesque bay mare is not our every-day cover girl, yet she is undeniably beautiful. No doubt she’d rather have been galloping down the straight at Flemington or Randwick than standing in a paddock, but she was on her best behaviour while posing with internationally renowned model Julia Nobis for photographer Benny Horne. The history-making mare is undefeated in 22 races.

I Love Paris

I love paris in the spring time
I love paris in the fall
I love paris in the summer when it sizzles
I love paris in the winter when it drizzles

I love paris every moment
Every moment of the year
I love paris, why oh why do I love paris
Because my love is here

Bottle green is the new blue

Bottle green is NOT grassy green, bluey green or turqoisey green ~ it is the vibrant, almost translucent colour of green bottles.
